Two power companies serve the Phoenix Metro Area. There is some overlap in service areas, so the easiest way to confirm your provider is to call both providers.

Start or Stop Your Service
Things to take note of when signing up with with Arizona Public Service:
- A hookup charge will be added to your first bill. Make note to ask the full amount of this charge with tax when setting up your serve.
- Prior to turning on your service, a deposit may be required.
- Make certain to give at minimum 3 business days’ notice to begin or end any power service.

Start or Stop Your Service
If You Have an SRP Meter on the Property:
SRP will guarantee next day service if calls for service are put into their system by 7pm the day prior. Make sure to ask if you need to be home, you may need to available or present for certain service activations.
If You Do Not Have an SRP Meter on the Property:
Contact 602-236-8888 at minimum 15 working days prior to the date you would like to move in, this will ensure SRP enough time to activate your service. An electrical inspection may be require, which is why the additional notice is necessary.
